Music Of The Heart

Beyonce taught me to be the best I can be, that I'm worth while

Rihanna taught me not every guy/girl is going to treat me right

Lady Gaga taught me its okay to be different

Ke$ha taught me to be myself and not care what anyone else thinks

Eminem taught me that life is hard but you can make it through

Michael Jackson taught me to always love the people around me.

Justin Bieber taught me to never say never.

Music taught me how to live. ♥

The statements above were not written by me. It was a comment made by someone on a video on youtube that I though was interesting.

Music can have such influence in us; it makes us remember good and bad things. It makes us laugh, cry, get angry. It can bring out all different kinds of emotions.

I don't think i could live without music.

My favorite song of the moment is Rihanna's - Only girl. It's a dance song cause I like to shake it!

What's yours?

Love this blog entry! I may have to borrow it too!. If I had to choose a current favorite, I'd have to say Mike Posner's " Please don't go." I love everything about the song

You are a dancing genius. I know you dance because so many photos on your blog are in dancing places. Dancing means music. I too enjoy music. Many different genres, and I get to listen to my hubby play his guitar almost every day too. Music has saved me from such depression when I was younger, and it brings joy into my life every day. I am happy for you that music has found an important place in your life too.

Sadly, I think I could live without music. I'm a rare bird that way. TV, absolutely not!!!!

Great post! I truly believe music is so powerful - in times of sadness, happiness, anxiousness, etc.

Right now I am obsessed with Nicki Minaj. I'm not a big rap fan but I adore her. I love that she's said in an interview that women can be who they are and they don't have to act sexual to get places in life.

Tim - I didn't write the statement above someone else did. I just though it was a nice way to state things and so that's why I put it up.

My favorite songs are unchanging.. for some reason I never really have a favorite song of the moment. I'll always love My Girl by The Temptations, and The Suffering by Coheed and Cambria!
