I was intrigued by a flyer given to me at the mall about taking an Aqua Spinning class. I've taken all sorts of classes to exercise, but never something like this, and since I'm on vacations right now I decided to try it out.So, it's called an aquatic bike which is basically a stationary bike under water. It has a very easy installing method and it is endowed with different levels of resistance. It unites both the advantages of the traditional bike and those of the foot thrust in a pool.
It is said that the hydro massage given by the movement of the water hardens legs and buttocks, invigorates arms and abdomen, strengthens heart and lungs and that one can lose weight with extreme easiness thanks to a slow and lasting aerobic exercise.
I have been going for a month now, and I can see a difference in my body, and in my resistance. I'm going 3 times a week for an hour. They have early classes, but I'm taking mine at 8 pm, and it feels really good to get home, take a shower and go right to sleep. You are left with a sensation that you had a real great work out and it is really relaxing.

It is extremely motivating having an instructor pushing you to keep going. The class has around 15 people from all ages. I highly recommend it to everyone. It's a good exercise for people who want to exercise, but can't because they have joint problems.

this is really cool...athletes have been working in water for years...it is cool to see this catching on...and it is fun and refreshing...
Never heard of this but it looks so cool! I just found out that I have really bad knees and am on my way to surgery if I don't bike and swim a lot. This is the perfect combo of both!
This seems really cool. I love the water but hate spinning classes. I do Zumba classes too and I think aqua Zumba would be a good idea too.
I have NEVER heard about this but I would SO do it!!!! Thanks for visiting me today =)
no doubt hydro workouts are getting popular day by day and you are lucky enough by giving it a try. I was thinking about joining a sport.. I think i am resembling to the shape of egg so oval and so pale. hehehe
That is fascinating! I think I would really like this class, and it would be so much easier on the joints!
Brian Miller - Yeah, it really is catching on! Really popular down here right now!
Leeann - If you ever have a chance you should try it!
Mind Of Mine - I actually hate spinning classes too, but I thought this would be an interesting twist and I liked it! and if there are aqua aerobics there can definitely be Aqua Zumba!
KDC Events - Yeah, if you ever see it around in CA try it! You're welcome im glad your back!
Naqvee - Yeah, joining a sport is also a lot of fun! :)
Blueviolet - It's great! You can't even feel it on the joints! There is no impact because of the water. If you ever see it and have a chance try it! :)
What! This is so stinking cool. I want to try it!

I've never seen nor imagined something like an aquatic bike in my life. How neat! I love the idea! :)
That sounds neat! I saw on your profile that you're an ESL teacher. Where do you teach and what is your favorite county you've taught in so far or where would you like to go? I plan on taking at least one job in China and one in S. Korea.
Hi Global teacher! I teach in Mexico. In the Yucatan peninsula. I think S. Korea would be awesome. I have a friend from Hawaii there and he loves it in S Korea!!!
